My First Anxiety Attack
I had my first panic attack in 2007.
It happened 2 hours before the final night of a show I was performing in. I had to call my director to tell him that the final show would not happen. I was driving myself to the emergency room because I was convinced I was having a heart attack. I’m a really good multi-tasker!
That’s when I really learned what anxiety and panic attacks were, and started my personal journey of learning how to accept them, and also how to successfully work through my anxious thoughts and behaviors.
I’m a professional artist and coach. I’ve been performing in front of people my whole life. And there are still times when I get anxious before, during, or after a presentation or event. And I also know that anxiety and stage fright affect more people than just actors.
We are all in this together.
I’m an entrepreneur and business owner, just like many of you. I know that these things might affect you as well. I’ve come a long way in my journey, and it gives me so much joy to share with my community, and to watch them grow both professionally and personally. And to simply feel better and more confident!
Confidence is connected to so many different elements of life, personalities, and situations. The moment we become aware of what works for and against us, is the moment when we can really stand in our power, lead, and inspire.
I’m curious: What works for you in moments of panic and anxiety?
And also, when did you feel you were most standing in your power?
I'm always happy to chat, and offer a complimentary discovery call. Schedule your time below.
